She called several cab companies, finally locating a company that had a driver with a number that I had given her. Luckily Eugenia took it upon herself to pursue the issue ( my iPad was in the rucksack). Another desk clerk dismissed the whole issue. The manager argued with me that the number that I had gotten couldn't be correct and gave up helping me immediately. ( They use numbers instead of names like the 40/40 cab company or the 69/69 company) It was my good fortune that Eugenia was working at the front desk. Luckily I had gotten the taxi driver's number but not the name of the company. The next time I tried Eugenia left her.gave us problems. I am a fairly savvy computer user but after 50 mins of trying to negotiate away from some Italian girl's Facebook account and find Google in English I gave up. If I ran this hotel I would make Eugenia the head clerk and release or retrain the others that were working on Saturday night June 28 2014. (There was a Globus bus coming to stay with them) None of the other clerks that night had the time for me. Eugenia was fantastic and really seemed to care about customers. She then called the driver at home !! and talked him into delivering the rucksack back to the hotel( for a fee).
